Our history dates back to 1983 when Steven Lies opened his own law firm in Wahpeton, North Dakota. The firm expanded in 1984 with the addition of John Bullis as a partner. Further growth came in 1987 with the acquisition of the practice of George Korbel and Anthony Gospodar, allowing us to better serve clients in North Dakota and Minnesota. In 1998, we acquired the law offices of Paul Muehler in Hankinson, enhancing our ability to serve rural clients. Today, we maintain offices in Wahpeton and Hankinson, with a team of five attorneys, two paralegals, and three legal secretaries.

Our goal has always been to provide prompt, efficient, and effective handling of our clients' varying needs. We remain committed to those standards of excellence as we continue to help our clients achieve their specific legal goals.
