Our mission is to provide "Old Fashioned Service - Digital Delivery" to our clients. Our History

Our story began in the 1930s, during the Great Depression, when J. Duke Colby, an attorney in New York's Capital District, started providing leg work for other attorneys. He would go to the Secretary of State or Court offices in the Albany, Schenectady, and Troy area, picking up and delivering documents that attorneys might need. In 1939, he started calling himself Colby Attorneys Service, and word spread. Over the years, the business thrived, based on attention to detail and quick response times at a reasonable cost.
