C. Nicholas Lavery, known to most as Nick Lavery, is a seasoned attorney with over 18 years of experience representing clients in Clemson, South Carolina, and the surrounding areas. A native of South Carolina, Nick has dedicated his career to serving his community and ensuring that every client receives the best possible legal representation.
Nick began his career as an Assistant Solicitor for the 13th Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Office (Greenville and Pickens Counties) and the 10th Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Office (Anderson and Oconee Counties). During his time as an Assistant Solicitor, Nick prosecuted a wide range of cases, from murders to drug charges to traffic offenses. This experience provided Nick with a solid foundation in criminal law and a deep understanding of the legal system.
After leaving the Solicitor's Office, Nick joined Olson, Smith, Jordan and Cox, P.A. in 2002 and worked primarily in the Clemson Office. He became a partner in 2005, and the firm name was eventually changed to Smith, Jordan and Lavery. In 2019, Nick started his own firm, which is still based in Clemson.
Nick continues to represent clients in the areas of Criminal Defense, including DUI, as well as other charges related to alcohol and drugs. He also handles civil cases concerning Personal Injury, Automobile/Motorcycle Accidents and Workers' Compensation and Commercial and Residential Real Estate Closings throughout the State of South Carolina.
