Our Attorney

Lisa Benson, the founder of L. Benson Law, is a dedicated North Dakota family law attorney with more than 15 years of experience. Lisa graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law with distinction in 2005. After law school, she worked as an Assistant State's Attorney for Ward County until June 2007, when she began work as a Special Assistant Attorney General with the State of North Dakota in Fargo. As an attorney with the State and with Ward County, she represented the State in thousands of cases that included all facets of family law. Lisa's past employment has given her invaluable experience that she brings to L. Benson Law, PLLC. Lisa is a zealous, yet respectful, advocate with the experience and know-how to effectively represent you as your family law attorney.
