Seeking justice for all, one case at a time
Since 2003, the Association for Honest Attorneys (A.H.A!) has been a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the legal system in America and gaining respect for the legal profession. Our mission is to discourage civil litigation, increase public awareness of the illegal and unethical practices of many attorneys, and seek "justice for all." We aim to reduce stress and save money in any legal matter through alternative means of resolving issues, rather than lawsuits.
Our Goals
Our primary goals include publishing educational materials, such as the book "TEN SECRETS You Must Know Before Hiring a Lawyer, " referring people to lawyers we feel they can trust, and creating a list of "Lawyers to Avoid & Consider." We also provide assistance with attorney difficulties, education regarding the legal system, emotional support, and a timely resolution of legal matters. Our ultimate goal is to encourage attorneys to vow not to drag legal matters out needlessly, refuse to allow or engage in intentional emotional distress or harassment of clients and/or witnesses, and be loyal to truth and justice above money.
Evolution and Challenges
Despite our efforts, we faced significant challenges, including being placed on the terrorist watch list and receiving a National Security Letter. This targeting led to the departure of all our directors, except for our founder, Joan Farr. She added God as a director on the board in 2007 and continued to operate the organization. We evolved into an independent government watchdog agency and advocate against illegal domestic surveillance and the targeting of innocent Americans nationwide. Our efforts also shifted towards helping people file their own federal lawsuits if their Constitutional rights have been violated.
Current Activities
Today, Joan continues her efforts as a pre-litigation consultant in Oklahoma, focusing on resolving disputes before they turn into lawsuits. She also provides assistance with filing federal lawsuits and takes cases up to the U.S. Supreme Court. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to our mission and continue to strive for a more just and ethical legal system in America.
