Our History

Mackoff Kellogg Law Firm was founded in 1889 by Leslie Simpson, a pioneer lawyer who decided to establish his practice in Dickinson, North Dakota. At the time, Dickinson was a small town with a population of less than 1,000 people, but Simpson saw potential in the area and decided to stay. He rented an office above the First National Bank building on Dickinson's Main Street and began practicing law.

Over the years, the firm has grown and evolved, but our commitment to providing exceptional legal services has remained the same. Today, we are one of the leading law firms in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana, with a team of experienced attorneys and staff members dedicated to serving our clients.
