Our founders, Tom Maddox and Kevin Gorham, have been practicing law together for over 30 years, providing professional and personal legal service to their clients. With a combined experience of over 40 years in the legal profession, they have earned a reputation for their expertise and commitment to delivering excellence in their representation. Our firm has been instrumental in changing premises liability and alibi evidence law in North Carolina, and our partners have argued numerous cases before the North Carolina Courts of Appeal and Supreme Courts.

We are proud to have two of the most experienced and respected attorneys in the region as our partners. E. Thomas Maddox Jr. has been practicing law since 1972 and has been admitted to the North Carolina Bar, U.S. District Court, and the Supreme Court of North Carolina. He has successfully argued cases before the Supreme Court, changing premises liability and alibi evidence law in North Carolina.
F. Kevin Gorham has been practicing law since 1984 and has been admitted to the North Carolina Bar and the U.S. District Court. He is a recipient of the distinguished Martindale-Hubbell award for his exceptional legal ability and ethical standards.
