Meet Our Team

Our team is led by Tanner W. Pittman, an attorney licensed to practice in Georgia and Alabama. Tanner has practiced law serving both individuals and large organizational clients. His varied background, ranging from retail banking to international business, to the legal field, helps him bring a rich array of experience to bear upon his clients' legal issues.

Tanner graduated with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law, a top-tier institution. His coursework concentrated on business law and included such subjects as corporations, corporate taxation, closely held organizations, and business negotiations. Prior to law school, Tanner worked in management at Athens First Bank & Trust Co. in Georgia. He received an undergraduate degree magna cum laude in German and International Trade from Clemson University.

Rebecca D. Payne is a certified paralegal with years of experience handling legal matters ranging from criminal cases to complex estate transactions. Charlie Shorey is our legal assistant and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our firm.
